Public Events and Bar Nights
As a general rule, Public events like the blackBOOTS CODE Night at Club Try-angles are open to all (21+) and it is openly advertised in both the local printed media as well as social media sites like Facebook and FetLife. Attending a Bar Night is great way to get sponsored into private play parties and classes if you are new and don't know the organizers.
blackBOOTS also sponsors public community events focused on men's health issues and sexual well being in coordination with other organizations such as Mr. Friendly, The Utah AIDS Foundation, The Utah Pride Center and The Salt Lake County Health Department.

Munches
Munches are open to all (adults aged 18+) but due to the nature of making reservations in the restaurants that we use as our venues, RSVP’s are asked for. Munches are listed on the blackBOOTS Facebook page as well as FetLife. You can RSVP to a Munch on the blackBOOTS Facebook page, on a FetLife event listing or via email at blackbootsslc@aol.com You are welcome to bring friends but please make sure your guests are low drama and can respect the privacy of all the other attendees. blackBOARD Classes
blackBOARD classes are semi-private or private in order to maintain the privacy and security of all attendees. Classes are listed on the blackBOOTS Facebook page as well as FetLife. You can RSVP to a class on the blackBOOTS Facebook page, on a FetLife event listing or via email at blackbootsslc@aol.com You may be asked to provide the name of a sponsor or someone to vouch for you if the hosts do not know you. You will be asked to provide your full name as it appears on your ID and will also be required to bring valid ID as proof of age and identity. Classes are for adults aged 18+ and some classes are further restricted to ages 21+. It is standard protocol for the hosts not to share your name or any private information with anyone else but just maintain a proper guest list for legal purposes. You can use a nickname with the other attendees if you are concerned about your privacy. You are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend or friends that are interested to our blackBOARD classes, but remember our private Clubhouse address is not to be shared/posted publicly. Make sure your guests are low drama and can respect the privacy of all the other attendees. ID is always required at classes and private events at the Clubhouse and everyone is required to sign a liability waiver. You are issued a Clubhouse Card when you attend your first Clubhouse event and sign the waiver. You must bring the card to come to ALL Clubhouse events and classes. Lost cards are subject to a $5. replacement fee.

Private Events and Play Parties
As the name implies, these events are private, by invitation only and are subject to many additional rules and protocols order to maintain legality, privacy and security of all attendees. Most parties are listed on the blackBOOTS Facebook page as well as FetLife. You can RSVP to a party if invited by the hosts on the blackBOOTS Facebook page or request an invite on a FetLife event listing or via email at blackbootsslc@aol.com You may be asked to provide the name of a sponsor or someone to vouch for you if the hosts don’t know you. Everyone must RSVP and their full legal name must be on a proper guest list to attend a private event. It is standard protocol for the hosts not to share your name or any private information with anyone else but just maintain a proper guest list for legal purposes. You must take responsibility for your guests actions as their sponsor and risk losing the privilege to attend future events if you bring unruly guests. All guests need to provide their full names prior to the event and bring ID as well. Play parties may have a dress code but require you to arrive and get changed and not leaving the premises without changing back into normal street clothes. Play parties have many rules and protocols to maintain safety and privacy. Please make sure you read through any instructions you are sent when you RSVP for an private party and plan on attending an orientation the first time you attend.
